JOB TITLE:

iSeries Developer/Technical Architect

Krengel Technology of greater Mankato needs a driven, technical-oriented RPG programmer to support our product RPG-XML Suite.  RPG-XML Suite is a product developed by Krengel Technology that allows RPG programmers the ability to create XML web services on the IBM iSeries server. We are in need of an individual with an existing understanding of RPG and XML or the desire to learn more about RPG and the technology of web services. This position will provide support to prospects and existing clients who desire to implement RPG-XML Suite within their business environments.
Qualified applicants must possess:

  • Solid understanding of RPG code, AS400/iSeries, DB2, ILE, free format
  • General understanding of HTTP, XML, XSD, WSDL, and SOAP
  • Ability to define/develop XML web service solutions on IBM i server
  • Ability to take technical support calls from existing customers
  • Ability to support and learn our software at www.rpg-xml.com

This position may be performed remotely for qualified candidates.
